Doctor, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst with a training function of the Peruvian Society of Psychoanalysis. Member of the Psychoanalysis in Psychiatry Section of the World Psychiatric Association since 2000. President of the SPP (2014 – 2016) and of the Peruvian Psychiatric Association (1999-2000). Chair for Latin America of the Program Committee of the 51st IPA Congress in London 2019. Member of the FEPAL Board of Directors (2006 - 2008). He is currently a Representative to the IPA Board for Latin America (2021-2023). He has published articles in Psychoanalysis.today, in specialized journals and chapters in books on his fields of interest: psychoanalysis, neuroscience, psychiatry and traditional Amazonian medicine.
